We were absolutely buzzing with pride at We Are RAM Construction as we sponsored something truly magical, The Academy of Performing Arts’ very first show, The Wizard of Oz, which hit the stage at the Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne last May. ✨
The Academy offered performing arts classes in Stone Cross, Eastbourne, and Hastings, but what made this school extra special was that it was designed especially for children and young people with special needs, aged 3 to 18.
It is a safe, supportive space where every child could express themselves, build confidence, and explore the magic of music, dance, and drama in a way that suited them.
🌟 Stepped Into the Spotlight
The production of The Wizard of Oz was the Academy’s first-ever show, and what a debut it was! From brave little lions to sparkly shoes and everything in between, the show was heartwarming, empowering, and full of joy.
We felt incredibly honoured to be part of their journey, helping to make dreams come true for children who might not usually get the chance to take centre stage.
💛 Why It Meant So Much to Us
At RAM, we’ve always believed in backing brilliant people doing brilliant things—and this school was exactly that. They created something truly special for families across our community, and we couldn’t have been more proud to help bring their vision to life.
On the day Mike attended with his wife and son who really enjoyed the show.
