This year, We Are RAM Construction is thrilled to be expanding our team with three new apprenticeships in carpentry and bricklaying - and we couldn’t be more excited to get them on site and into the mix!
We’re proud to be working in partnership with East Sussex College to give these young trainees real-world experience, top-tier mentorship, and the hands-on learning they need to thrive in the industry.
🛠 Why Apprenticeships Matter to Us
Let’s be honest - some of the best in the business started by picking up a trowel or a hammer as a fresh-faced apprentice. Our very own director, Michael, began his journey with a bricklaying apprenticeship, which laid the foundation for everything he’s built since.
At RAM, we don’t just build homes and spaces, we build skills, confidence, and proper career paths.
Training young people is something we’re seriously passionate about. With the right guidance, structure, and a bit of RAM-style encouragement, these lads (and maybe a few ladies too!) will become the next wave of top trades.

Our four new apprentices will be learning everything from the foundations up—literally.
Whether it’s laying bricks with precision or crafting the perfect timber finish, they’ll be supported by our experienced team every step of the way.
And who knows? Maybe they’ll be our next site managers, supervisors, or even directors someday. Everyone’s got to start somewhere—and we love being that “somewhere.”
